The wife and I stayed for two nights at the Tree house for the second time and we will be back its the most tranquil place ever. Sitting on the deck with a cold beer looking down at the Lake you can't get any better.
We were very disappointed with our 'Christmas' lunch yesterday. I ordered the turkey and the ham, however, the ham was of the poor quality re-constituted variety rather than off the bone. It was tasteless and almost inedible. The turkey also seems to have been processed rather than fresh. My Christmas pudding seems to have been microwaved and the berries on my husband's pavlova were frozen. This place isn't good for a young family. During our stay at the whistle stop, we told the management that we we were not comfortable with having no phone reception and we asked to be moved closer to reception in case something happens with our 8 months old. The only option we were offered was to be upgraded at an extra cost of $100 per night. The manager we were dealing with was so rude and had no sympathy. what's weird is that the upgrade at cost was only available if the new guests that they want to upgrade us into their ... read more
